The page most families come to
Don, in the three months to 01/09/2026 Google sent 119,411 clicks to burstows.com.au, and 83,050 of them went straight to Currently in Our Care. The homepage took 19,881, so this page is your front door more often than the homepage is. On the new website it is built from the same records as the tributes.
The page today, and the new one
The page you have now is one long run of small cards. Each has a short name, a small round photo or a grey circle, the type of service, the date and time and the full street address, with no heading for each day.
The new page puts people under a heading for the day of their service, "Thursday 1 October 2026" in the picture below, with their full name, a large photo, their age, and each service listed with its time and the venue by name.

On the left is burstows.com.au on 05/10/2026. On the new page the service times and venues sit just below where this picture stops.
What you see on the preview is demonstration content. It was frozen on 01/10/2026 so the page stayed full while we reviewed it, and it still shows services that have passed: 34 people over 7 service days, from 01/10/2026 to 12/10/2026. Before launch it runs from the live records and today's date. The current site is still the live one for who is in your care this week.
And the same two pages on a phone.

One record, two pages
This is how it works once administration is on. Your team enters a person once in administration, and that one record fills both pages.
Who enters each new person is agreed with Michelle while we are getting ready. Today a new person reaches the website through the tribute company's system. My lean is that from launch day administration takes that job over, with one named person on the media team and a second for weekends and out of hours, so that a person who comes into your care on a Saturday night is on the website by Sunday morning. Once they are entered in administration, they will be on the website within a few minutes. Until that is agreed and you have signed off the second review round, the page families use today carries on exactly as it is.
Where this page stands
Built today
- The page and its cards.
- The heading for each service day.
- The Currently in Our Care button in the menu on every page.
- The "View a funeral via webstream" link in the bar across the top of every page.
Finished before launch day
- The page runs from the live records and today's date.
- Who on the media team enters a new person in administration, and who covers weekends, is agreed with Michelle before the build starts.
- New people flow in from administration, and the website refreshes itself within a few minutes of a change there.
- The livestream player stays with its current provider, and is checked before the change.
All of that leans on administration, which is the next page.
